Fees & Accessibility

I believe that high-quality, professional support should be accessible to anyone. My practice is built on the values of equity and care, which is why I offer a sliding scale fee structure for clients who face financial barriers. My standard fee reflects the specialized nature of the clinical work we do together. However, I understand that life circumstances and financial stability vary significantly from person to person.

Individual Therapy: $150 for 55 minute session

Couples Therapy: $200 for 55 minute session

Insurance & Payment

Currently, I am a private-pay practice and do not accept insurance directly.

Choosing private pay allows us to maintain the highest level of privacy and control over your treatment. Because your insurance provider does not dictate the duration or nature of our sessions, we are free to focus entirely on what is best for your unique goals.

  • Using Out-of-Network Benefits: Many insurance plans offer "out-of-network" coverage for behavioral health. I am happy to provide you with a "Superbill"—a specialized document containing all the necessary clinical codes—which you can submit to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement. I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card to ask: "What are my out-of-network mental health benefits for an outpatient office visit?"

**I made the decision to not except insurance because I do not believe in the system of insurance companies. In my experiences it is a headache for the consumer and the customer that I chose to opt out from. I value privacy, confidentiality, and flexibility in the therapeutic relationship and find that insurance companies impede on those values.

What is a Sliding Scale?

A sliding scale is a flexible fee arrangement that adjusts based on your household income and financial capacity. The goal is to ensure that the cost of therapy does not prevent you from accessing the support you deserve.

  • How it works: During our initial consultation, we can have an honest, transparent conversation about your financial situation and what is a sustainable investment for your budget.

  • Prioritizing Equity: I reserve a portion of my practice specifically for sliding-scale spots to ensure that therapy is accessible to individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds and economic realities.

A Note on Investment

Choosing to start therapy is a significant commitment of both time and financial resources. When we discuss fees, we are looking for a balance: a rate that is manageable for you, while also ensuring that I can provide the dedicated, focused, and high-quality care you expect from a licensed professional.

With Depth Therapy it is important that sessions are consistent on a weekly basis. I also offer sessions 2-3 times a week. If you are interested in multiple sessions weekly, we can also discuss a rate that is manageable per session.

Next Steps

If you have concerns about the cost of therapy, I encourage you to bring this up during your initial 15-minute consultation. We will work together to find a fee that allows you to prioritize your healing without unnecessary financial strain.
